…inspired by the philosophy and esthetics of the HOPI TRIBE, especially by their attitude towards nature, this unique chain collection was created based on the concept of sustainability.
Like all IKA BABEL pieces, these were handcrafted with precious care in our studio with a focus on conserving resources.
The innovative mix of materials such as brass, chrome-free tanned organic salmon leather,
vegetable dyed cotton cord combined with minimalist design, makes them versatile, all-purpose statement pieces.
Lightweight and comfortable to wear and compatible with a variety of looks, the HOPI CHAINS are the perfect companion for both day and evening and have the potential to become real favorite pieces.

Amulet: brass plate, water blasted in Germany, filed by hand
chrome-free tanned organic salmon skin from
hand stamped emblem made of rhubarb tanned leather
Rope chain: cotton rope, made in Germany, hand painted with plant-based dyes
